Top 5 favourite books of 2017 – ( Jan to Aug )

I love watching these kind of post or videos by people where they talk about their favourite reads of 2017.

2017 was a good reading year for me. I did a lot of reading than my usual. Even though I’m still one book behind in my Goodreads goal of 50.

I have read 30 books this year. And gathered a few books in my list of favourites. This list of 5 was hard to make but I managed.

The books include both the ones I read and also some of them were released in 2017 but others were not. So its a mix.

1.  Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

Starting with the oldest book in the list which made into my favourite classic of all time.

This book has so much in it. It has one of my  favourite friendship in fiction.

Jane and Helen , they were so pure.

If there is only one classic that you can read , read this one.

2. A List of Cages by Robin Roe

I know I mention this book in almost all of my list but I feel I don’t talk about it enough.

It’s an emotional and cry worthy read. I cried so so so much while reading this. It was as if I was mourning.

Please read this please.

3. Love Letters To the Dead by Ava Dellaira

Another cry worthy read. It made me cry on the very first page. It was tragic yet lovely.

4. The summer of Impossible Things by Rowan Coleman

This book was so so adorable. I was a bit unsure about its time travel element but it stood out to me so so much. Loved this book a lot.
Highly highly recommend.

5. Things I should have known by Claire Lazebnic

This book has a beautiful representation of  autism. It has some amazing character and character development.

It’s worth a read.

Special reference to Aristotle and Dante Discover the secrets of the universe By Benjamin Alire Saénz  that one is profound.

So, that’s the list of books marking my favourite of first half of 2017. I hope you enjoy reading some.

List your top 5 in the comment section below. Can’t wait! 😀
